Biography

Kaya's mother died tragically at sea when she was six years old. As the story went, her mother had made a living as an honest sailor once she chose to leave the Zu tribe after Kaya's father after he had expressed his desire to bring them around to a more traditional way of thinking. One night there was a terrible storm, and unfortunately Kaya's mother never returned.Kaya's mother's closest friend had been a merchant named Lodwicke Merigold. They had both a business and personal relationship, although as far as Kaya is aware, it never became romantic. Even still, once her mother passed, Lodwicke offered to take Kaya in as his ward, and she grew up on the outskirts of Ul'dah.As Kaya got older, she realized Lodwicke was into some shady dealings, but as he was a kind man who looked after her, she rationalized that he was merely trying to take care of them the best he was able. Although she was never formally adopted by him, Lodwicke was still very much a father. As such, she never found it offensive that she was often referred to as 'Miss Merigold' once she began working at the Coffer & Coffin, as most of the townspeople knew her as Lodwicke Merigold's girl.Eventually, Kaya wished to return to the sea and where she grew up, and sought a job tending bar at The Drowning Wench. She now resides in the inn at Limsa Lominsa, hoping to make enough money to get a place of her own. However, should you ever see her in Ul'dah, she also has a moonlight gig at The Quicksand whenever she's in town visiting her father.

About the Roleplayer

30+ F who unfortunately doesn't have much time to RP anymore, due to having a small child. So first and foremost if you want to RP with me, please understand that I have very limited time or may have to go at the drop of a hat. Because of this, for the time being I'm only doing short scenes - I apologize in advance!Other than that, I am an experienced RPer (and fic writer) of 20+ years. I've dabbled with RPing in WoW, both serious and... well, Goldshire. lol. Anyway, I am not overly familiar with FFXIV lore which is why I took the "easy" way out with a hyur-adopted miqo'te, but I'm trying to learn more and hope to make more lore-abiding toons soon!

  • Mirror RP. Whether you're a one-liner or do multi-para, I can match your style.

  • MRP18+. So long as the scene calls for it, I am willing to (and experienced with) RPing adult scenes.

  • Romance scenes limited to female-presenting toons. I'm not picky about whether they are cis/trans/nb.

  • Roleplay =/= Real Life. It sucks that I even have to say this, but some people get weird. I am happily married in my real life and have no interest in pursuing anything OOC, except friendship of course :)

  • Only available when RP status is on. This probably goes without saying, but you know lol.
